Born on April 12, 1968 in Toronto, Ontario, Adam Graves is a retired hockey player. He formerly played for minor leagues before he entered the National Hockey League. He debuted with Detroit Red Wings for the 1988-1989 seasons, where he played a total of 56 games. He was transferred to Edmonton Oilers in the next season and with his new team, he had his very first Stanley Cup. Reviews say he improved in terms of goals made when he became a free agent. After scoring 52 goals in the 1993-1992 seasons with the Rangers, he was included in the NHL All-Star team and even led his team's goal record that season. He was a recipient of the King Clancy Memorial Trophy for helping his team win in the Stanley Cup and the Bill Masterton trophy in 2001. After the 2001 season, he joined the San Jose Sharks for two years and sources say he soon retired while with the team. He made a career record of 329 goals and 287 assists. He was included in the 100 Ranger Greats as the 13th all-time player. His number 9 jersey was retired by the Rangers together with his teammates, Mark Messier, Brian Leetch and Mike Richter.
