Bill Gullickson Jerseys

Bill Gullickson is a retired professional baseball player. He was a pitcher for a number of teams in the MLB including the Yomiuri Giants of the Nippon Professional Baseball. He was drafted by the Montreal Expos during the 1977 MLB Draft. He was made the second overall pick for the draft. He was able to make his debut appearance in the next season and came in as a runner-up for the voting of the NL Rookie of the Year. He was able to post a 3.00 ERA and made 18 strike-outs, breaking the then-record for number of strikeouts by a rookie. The 18 strikeouts is still a record in the Expos history. In Japan, he was able to come up with a 21-14 win-loss record. He went back to the MLB after he signed with the Houston Astros in 2000. He signed with the Detroit Tigers in 1991 and pitched for the club for four seasons until his retirement in 1994 due to a number of injuries that he had sustained.
