Chris Hammond Jerseys
Christopher Andrew Hammond, known as Chris Hammond, is a former Major League Baseball player. Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, he was born on January 21, 1966. He is a left-handed batter and thrower who was drafted in the 1986 Amateur Draft of the Major Baseball League. He was selected by the Cincinnati Reds in round six of the said draft but reviews say he did not played quite well for his first few seasons as a rookie. In 1993, he became part of the Florida Marlins. He spent three years with the Marlins until he joined the Boston Red Sox in 1997. He went back to being a Marlin in 1998 and decided to take his first retirement after sustaining an injury. In 2002, he made his comeback in the Major League as part of the Atlanta Braves. After a year with the Braves, he played for the New York Yankees in 2003 and in 2004 signed with the Oakland Athletics. Hammond joined the San Diego Padres in 2005 and unfortunately, had another shoulder injury that forced him to rest for a while. In 2006, he joined the Cincinnati Reds once again and not long after, retired from being a baseball player. He posted a record of 66-62 win-loss ratio and 712 strikeouts with a 4.14 earned run average in his entire career. Give your MLB collection a new addition with Chris Hammond memorabilia.
