As a former defenceman for ice hockey, Quenneville was also a former head coach the Colorado Avalanche as well as the St. Louis Blues. He was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on September 15, 1958. Quenneville spends a huge number of years in his career as ice hockey coach ever since Toronto Maple Leafs drafted him as player in the Entry Draft for NHL in 1978. For the following years, he played and coached for different teams including OHA Windsor Spitfires, Toronto Maple Leafs, New Jersey Devils, AHL New Brunswick Hawks, Colorado Rockies, Washington Capitals, Hartford Whalers, AHL St. John's Maple Leafs, and AHL Baltimore Skipjacks.
