Perisho was born in Burlington, Iowa on June 8, 1975. He played as a former pitcher for the Major League Baseball but presently, he is playing for the Brother Elephants for Taiwan's Chinese Professional Baseball League where he signed up following the end of the Mexican League season. Perisho played in the Triple-A Mexican League for Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo in 2008. Known for being a good slider and for throwing low-90s fastball, Perisho's career peaked in 2004 as he played for the Florida Marlins where he posted 10 holds and a 5-3 record in 47.0 innings.
