Michael Charles Walters, or Mike Walters, formerly played as a pitcher in the Major League Baseball for the Minnesota Twins. He was born on October 18, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri. He played right handed and stands six feet five inches and weighs 203 pounds. He was drafted quite a few times; first by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 18th round of the 1975 MLB June amateur draft. Then, he was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the second round of the secondary phase of the 1976 MLB January Draft after which he was drafted again by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1976 MLB June Draft. Walters was then chosen as 21st overall in the 1977 January Draft by the Minnesota Twins then drafted 20th overall by the California Angels in the 1977 June Draft. His major league debut was on July 8, 1983 and he was then playing with the Twins. He last appeared in a game for the Twins on August 24, 1984. He only had a two- year career in the major leagues.
