Paul Edward Grant, born on January 6, 1974, is a former National Basketball Association player. Hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he finished high school in Michigan at Brother Rice High School. In college, he went to Boston College for his first few years but later on transferred to Wisconsin. He played college basketball in Wisconsin and was included in the All-Big Ten. He was recognized as the player with the most number of scores, blocked shots and field goal percentage one season with the Badgers. Grant was also able to join the Nike desert Classic and the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. He was drafted to the 1997 National Basketball Association Draft as a 20th pick overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves, but formally started to appear in NBA on February 5, 1999 after recovering from a sprain. After spending some seasons with the Timberwolves, he transferred to the Milwaukee Bucks via trade for Brian Evans and Terell Brandon. In 1999 to 2000 seasons, he was part of CBA's Rockford Lightning and in 2001 played for Indiana Legends and Los Angeles Stars of the ABA. In 2001-2002, he played in NBDL for the Asheville Altitude and afterwards signed with the Serbia and Montenegro in 2002. He became an assistant coach to MIT Men's Basketball team and assisted Oliver Eslinger at NEBCA All-Star Game.
