Robert Parish Jerseys
Hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana, Robert Lee Parish is a former National Basketball Association player who was known by the nickname “The Chief”. He played collegiately at Centenary College of Louisiana, and was one of the great players of the university which were considered invisible because of a certain NCAA violation of the school. However, this did not make Parish give up on basketball and continued to play impressively with four years of above 15 PPG average. He also appeared for the United State National team and competed in the Pan American Games in the 1975 season. He also became Salt Lake City's captain and a significant player for the team's gold medal win. He began playing professionally after joining the National Basketball Association draft that made him chosen by the Golden State Warriors during the first round. The San Antonio Spurs also drafted him for the American Basketball Association as well as the Utah Stars. He then transferred to the Boston Celtics with which he recorded a number of NBA titles. Together with his teammates Maxwell and Bird, they formed the Celtics' “Big Three” and were referred by a lot of reviews as one of the best teams in the history of the league. He spent his final seasons in the NBA with the Charlotte Hornets and with the Chicago Bulls. At his final season in the league, he was able to bag his fourth and final NBA title. Parish is a Basketball Hall of Fame member and was known as one of the 50 Greatest NBA Players in the history. You can add this great NBA star's memorabilia to your basketball compilation.
